Lensa: Menu Navigation Modification

Hi All! Sorry i’m not able to update the blog and answer all comments, a lot of jobs and business to do lately.

Anyway, this time i want to share something great for you all. If you already use Lensa theme, you will have a menu navigation that displayed at the top of this theme.

The menu navigation support to have a drop down menu navigation by hovering the parent item and the child menu item(s) will be displayed. The question now, how to turn off that hover menu and turned it into click?

At this post, i want to share you some modification to make the drop down menu works only when you click the parent menu item. To do it, you can download the modified file here and upload it via FTP to directory: wp-content > themes > lensa > includes > js and replace the old file.

Boom! The modification already done!

  1. Hi, first of all thank you for your work, it helped me to make my page look good at last.
    I have three questions:

    1.) On all pages there is an image in the background – the first image of slider gallery. It doesnt look good, i want to remove it and keep clean background – is there a way to do it?
    2.) How can i change the height of top menu? It covers the top of my images and doesn’t have to be so big…
    3). Is there a way to make top menu and the footer more transparent?
    4.) How can I change the color of header, body, footer and menu text?

    Thanks in advance;

    • Hi,

      Thank you for visiting.

      1. yes, you can remove it by going to: Lensa > dashboard > background settings, turn off an option named ‘Enable Background Slider only on homepage’

      2. You need to modify it using CSS code. For example is this one:

      .header-section .top-nav a, .header-section i {font-size: 15px;}

      3. you can use this CSS code:

      .header-section, .footer-section container {rgba(0, 0, 0, 0.8)}

      change the value of ‘0.8’ into any value you want. small number means to displayed more transparent

      4. about this, it is a lot of work. to make it simple, you can use google chrome and press F12 to displaying your developer mode
